This black metal band from the Netherlands knows how to create some very interesting atmospheres, both bleak and gentle. Well-written songs too.
Also I personally liked the unexpected, almost Rush-like vocals at the end. Looking forward to the new album! Favorite track: Verder van het Licht.

Verwoed deliver some of the most thoughtful and heartfelt black metal that is out there. The atmospheres and emotions their music evokes are astonishing, captivating, haunting and crushing. I love the vocals though I could do without the clean vocals in Verder van het Licht. Sorry, I'm just not into cleans.
Favorite track: Het Bedriegende Oog.
